[Hiring] Content Marketing Coordinator @University of Virginia

Role Description

UVA | Northern Virginia is seeking a Content Marketing Coordinator with strong storytelling and interpersonal skills to support all content marketing for the unit. Responsibilities include:

• Concepting, writing, designing, editing, and publishing content across various social media platforms and the unit's website blog.
• Developing a mix of written, visual, and interactive content to engage diverse audiences, promote UVA | Northern Virginia programs, and increase the unit's online presence.
• Working directly with the Associate Director of Communications and closely with the UVA | Northern Virginia leadership team.
• Gaining insight into the general work culture of an entrepreneurial unit.

This job is 10-20 hours a week and will work remotely from Charlottesville. This position is not open to being a FWS assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or interest in a diverse range of content types, such as graphic design, blog posts and articles, social media, videography, photography, etc.
• Experience and/or interest in marketing.

Requirements

• Brainstorm and concept development for social media and blog content.
• Write, edit, and proofread social media posts, articles, and blog content.
• Create and curate visual and multimedia content (images, videos, graphics).
• Work with Associate Director of Communications to schedule and post content across social media platforms and the website's blog.
• Learn and adopt the UVA Brand Guidelines throughout all brand messaging & content.
• Monitor engagement and suggest optimizations based on performance data.
