Role Description

The Brand Strategist manages the marketing and content growth of our clients' personal brands. This includes:

• Developing content strategy
• Creating thought leadership content
• Executing social media and newsletter marketing that drives visibility and engagement

You'll translate each client's unique story and expertise into content that positions them as an authority in their space — focused on social media, LinkedIn, newsletters, and creative production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years in account management, marketing strategy, content creation, or similar roles
• Proven experience building personal or executive brands across platforms such as LinkedIn
• Exceptional writing and storytelling ability, with experience ghostwriting for executives or thought leaders
• Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset
• Proficiency with project and collaboration tools (Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, Loom)

Requirements

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts (starting at 2-3, contractor, with opportunity to grow — most of our Brand Strategists manage 10-12 clients)
• Serve as the main point of contact for content/marketing deliverables
• Lead content onboarding, ensuring alignment on goals, milestones, and deliverables
• Develop content strategies aligned with client goals and SpeakrBrand's growth framework
• Brainstorm, plan, and execute high-quality social media and marketing content
• Collaborate with the creative team (design, video, copy) to ensure consistent brand expression across all deliverables
• Work closely with Growth Strategists to ensure content strategies drive measurable business results
• Manage timelines, tasks, and communication using project management tools (Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, Loom)
• Provide creative and strategic direction for content and campaign development
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve client content performance, satisfaction, and retention
