Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate SEM Specialist to join our growing digital marketing team. This role is based in India but focused primarily on managing and optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns targeting United States audiences and markets.
The ideal candidate will possess strong English communication skills, proven experience managing Google Ads and Meta advertising campaigns, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to proactively identify trends and opportunities within campaign performance data. This individual should be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
This person will report to the associate director of digital media.
Key Responsibilities

Paid Search & Paid Social Management
-
Build, launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across:

Google Ads
-
Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
-
Monitor daily campaign performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities
-
Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, bidding adjustments, and ad copy testing
-
Improve campaign KPIs including:
-
Cost Per Lead (CPL)
-
Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
-
Click-Through Rate (CTR)
-
Conversion Rate
-
Assist in campaign audits and competitive analysis
-
Analytics & Reporting
-
Analyze campaign performance data using:
-
Google Analytics
-
Google Ads
-
Meta Ads Manager
-
Microsoft Excel
-
Create recurring performance reports and dashboards
-
Utilize advanced Excel functions including:
-
VLookup/XLookup
-
Pivot Tables
-
Conditional Formatting
-
Data Validation
-
Basic formulas and data analysis techniques
-
Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights from marketing data
-
Client Communication & Collaboration
-
Communicate professionally and clearly with United States-based clients via:

Email

Video calls

Messaging platforms Slack and Microsoft Teams

Participate in campaign strategy discussions and internal meetings

Provide clear written and verbal updates regarding campaign performance and recommendations

Strategic & Proactive Thinking

Digital marketing best practices

Proactively recommend improvements to campaign structure, targeting, creative, and reporting

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing:

Google Ads campaigns

Meta/Facebook Ads campaigns

Strong understanding of:

Google Analytics

Paid search optimization

Paid social optimization

Conversion tracking

Marketing performance analysis

Current Google Search Certification required at time of hire

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

Experience communicating directly with United States clients strongly preferred

Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
