Role Description
This role is based out of our Mississauga Head Office location (60% in-office, 40% remote) and reports to the Goldfish Brand Manager. The Associate Brand Manager plays a supportive role to the Brand Team in achieving key business objectives. This includes:
- Managing execution of advertising plans (Integrated Marketing Communications)
- Assisting brand/business context to integrated agency team from briefing to execution
- Supporting process management of integrated marketing communication (IMC) plans
- Collaborating closely with agencies and internal media team
- Creating clear and concise briefs by applying brand positioning knowledge
- Evaluating effectiveness of campaign elements and providing recommendations
- Supporting new product launches (Innovation)
- Owning the development and presentation of innovation business cases to senior leadership
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure key milestones of commercialization process are achieved
- Tracking innovation performance and advising on support plans
- Contributing to delivery of the Annual Operating Plan (Business Management)
- Deriving information from various data sources and turning them into actionable insights
- Controlling the management of budget and providing ongoing forecasting and financial oversight
- Providing inputs to broader team throughout Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
- Contributing to the development of strategic business plans (Strategic Brand Planning)
- Engaging key counterparts cross-functionally and in different geographies
- Providing key analysis to inform the development of the Situation Assessment, Strategic Plan and Brand Plan
Qualifications
- University Degree, business degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of CPG experience
- Effective analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and create compelling narratives
- Effective experience with modelling (pricing) and data tools
- Effective ACNielsen tools and database capabilities
- Emerging interpersonal & presentation skills and ability to influence others
- Emerging knowledge of the S&OP process, supply chain operations and logistics is an asset
- Effective proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
