Role Description
This is an entry-level position on our Media team. The role supports multiple media buyers and collaborates with other departments across the converged media landscape, including Linear and CTV. Success in this role requires the ability to adapt quickly, learn continuously, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and make data-driven decisions. You will assist with media negotiations and campaign execution while supporting the broader Media team and collaborating with cross-functional partners across the agency.

Support multiple Media Buyers in executing all aspects of media buys.

Generate and confirm media orders, revisions and traffic changes.

Pull historical data to align with current avails to share out internally and externally.

Accurately handle all requests and traffic needs including coordinating with the team to make sure creative is approved at network S&P depts.

Maintain media records in our proprietary database.

Reconcile and manage invoice discrepancies for media vendors.

Successfully back-up the Media buyers and assist when they are not available.

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and increase efficiencies.

Assist with negotiating price, quality and placement of advertisements across assigned channels on behalf of all clients.

Independently troubleshoot and problem solve day-to-day tasks.

Assist with buy management on smaller networks.

Learn and understand the marketplace, particularly on assigned media including programming, pricing, clearance, marketplace, relationships and new opportunities.

Understand KPIβs of clients and assigned media with goals, making recommendations for adjustments, optimizations and testing.

Maintain excellent relationships with ad sales staff at designated media partners.

Keep up to date with media industry developments, news and updates to ensure agency and client knowledge of the marketplace remains current.

Closely track, enter and report pre and post logs for assigned media outlets.

Retrieve and enter data for post/prelog times and identify and clearly communicate any log discrepancies.
Qualifications

1-3+ years of media buying or advertising experience, ideally in direct response (DR) marketing and performance-based converged video.

Strong analytical skills. Comfortable dealing with large amounts of data.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey insights.

A desire to grow within the organization, particularly within the Media dept managing networks and larger buys solo in the future.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify accuracy in data.

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Slack and Google docs.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to quickly learn various systems and databases.

Enjoys collaborative work environment but can also work independently.

Requirements

Non-Exempt/Hourly $50k-$60k ($24.00-$28.84/hour).

Base salary is determined by a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and needs of the business.
