Role Description
Our client is seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Amazon Brand Manager (Account Lead) to act as the βGMβ for a portfolio of brands. This is a client-facing role managing approximately 7β10 accounts, with a strong focus on strategic direction over execution.

Own the end-to-end performance of your book of business, defining growth strategies, leading execution through a pod (PPC + Creative + Catalog), and acting as the primary point of contact for clients.

Think holistically about Amazon performance, identify constraints quickly, and drive outcomes across advertising, conversion, creative, and operations.
Key Responsibilities

Own the growth strategy and performance for a portfolio of Amazon brands, including roadmap development, prioritization, and execution sequencing.

Build and execute product launch strategies (readiness, keyword strategy, review generation, scaling phases).

Diagnose performance constraints across traffic, conversion, pricing, creative, inventory, and catalog structure.

Apply a deep understanding of the Amazon flywheel to drive sustainable and profitable growth.

Lead bi-weekly client communications and strategy discussions.

Serve as the primary point of contact, building strong and trusted client relationships.

Deliver clear, structured updates and performance recaps with actionable insights.

Confidently guide strategy, align stakeholders, and push back when needed.

Proactively identify risks (inventory issues, suppressions, compliance, etc.) and present solutions.

Manage and lead a cross-functional pod including designers, PPC specialists, and catalog managers.

Provide clear strategic direction across PPC, creative, and catalog initiatives.

Translate strategy into actionable plans and ensure timely execution.

Maintain quality control across all outputs to ensure they are conversion-driven and aligned with Amazon best practices.

Oversee performance, reporting, and continuous optimization across accounts.

Guide Amazon PPC strategy across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.

Align advertising with listing optimization, pricing strategy, and creative improvements.

Establish testing frameworks for keyword strategy, ranking, and conversion improvements.

Leverage tools such as Amazon Advertising Console, Search Query Performance, and third-party platforms to identify opportunities and improve performance.
Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on Amazon experience (agency or brand-side), with full ownership of account performance.

Strong expertise in Amazon PPC strategy, including campaign structure, targeting, bid strategy, and performance measurement.

Deep understanding of conversion levers (listing images, A+, copy, pricing, and offer strategy).

Proven knowledge of keyword strategy, indexing, ranking mechanics, and product launch sequencing.

Experience managing multiple clients/accounts simultaneously.

Proven experience in client-facing roles, with strong communication and relationship management skills.

Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams (PPC, creative, catalog, or similar).

High emotional intelligence and attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and reduce complexity for others.

Proven reliability and stability in previous roles.

Experience working in agency or consultancy environments.
Nice to Have

Experience in CPG categories (supplements, beauty, food & beverage, household, pet).

Familiarity with tools such as Helium 10, Datadive, Scale Insights, Merchant Spring, or similar.

Experience with Amazon DSP.

Experience implementing new tools, systems, or processes.

Background in managing creative pipelines (briefing, iteration, execution).

Must overlap with Pacific Time (PT), with core working hours between 8:00 AM β 2:00 PM PT (flexible within reason).
Salary
$3,000 USD/month (open to negotiation depending on experience).
