[Hiring] AEO / SEO & Content Lead @Gatekeeper

Role Description

The AEO / SEO & Content Lead will own Gatekeeper’s organic growth strategy, combining traditional SEO with emerging Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) practices to ensure our brand and content are discoverable across both search engines and AI-driven platforms.

Reporting to the Head of Growth, you will work closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and the wider Marketing team to increase organic pipeline generation and strengthen Gatekeeper’s visibility across the digital buying journey.

This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution, including:

• Content strategy
• Technical SEO
• Performance analysis
• Optimisation for AI-driven search experiences

Your success will be measured by:

• The contribution of organic channels to qualified pipeline
• Improvements in organic conversion rates
• Increased visibility across search engines and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing SEO strategies in a B2B SaaS environment
• Strong understanding of Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO)
• Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, and leading SEO toolsets such as Ahrefs or Semrush
• Experience creating and briefing high-quality content aligned with search intent and buyer journeys
• Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals
• Experience using HubSpot or similar marketing platforms

Requirements

• Monitor organic search performance using GA4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, and SEO tools
• Track and report on rankings, traffic, content performance, and pipeline contribution from organic channels
• Experiment with new tools and frameworks to optimise content for AI-powered search
• Identify opportunities to improve organic landing page performance
• Manage Gatekeeper’s presence across review platforms
• Oversee third-party content initiatives
• Identify opportunities to increase Gatekeeper’s citation presence
