Role Description

Join Our Team as a Trade Compliance Lawyer at Axiom. We are currently seeking Trade Compliance Lawyers to join our bench of attorneys working for our F500-ranked clients in the aerospace, defense, and life sciences industries.

• Provide legal guidance and support to our clients on matters related to export controls, sanctions, customs compliance, and other trade regulations.
• Conduct thorough reviews of international trade transactions, agreements, and documentation to identify potential compliance risks.
• Conduct investigations and draft voluntary disclosures.
• Advise on trade compliance requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Vietnamese language proficiency.
• Experience practicing law with a focus on international trade compliance, including familiarity with EAR, ITAR, FTR, and/or AFAC.
• Strong knowledge of import and export controls, economic sanctions, customs regulations, and other relevant trade laws and regulations.
• Ability to stay current on changes to trade laws and regulations, and advise management on potential impacts on business operations.
• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.

Requirements

• The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.
• Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
