[Hiring] Sustainability Counsel @Axiom Talent Platform

Role Description

We are currently seeking ESG Attorneys to work with our top F500 clients.

• Advise business units on sustainability, ESG, and climate-related legal risks, including regulatory compliance and disclosures.
• Support ESG reporting (e.g., SEC, CSRD, TCFD) and ensure alignment with evolving global standards.
• Partner with compliance, finance, and operations to embed sustainability into corporate governance and strategy.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments on climate, human rights, and supply chain due diligence, and translate them into actionable guidance.

Qualifications

• Licensed and good standing as an attorney in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability, environmental, or corporate governance law (law firm or in-house).
• Strong familiarity with ESG frameworks and regulations (e.g., SEC climate rules, CSRD, SASB/ISSB, TCFD).
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.

Requirements

• The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.
• Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
