[Hiring] Staff Contracts Management @Lockheed Martin

Role Description

The Mission Systems and Weapons (MSW) Market Segment of the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) line of business is looking for a staff level contracts negotiator to provide support for the emerging Sanctum Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) submarket segment with a focus on:

• Proposal support for capturing new business
• Comprehensive risk mitigation approaches
• Developing commercial terms and conditions
• Contract structures for this up and coming market

This individual will be the lead contracts POC for captures, negotiations, and related PIAs and bailments, working closely with:

• The program office
• Risk management
• Legal

The candidate must be a strategic thinker, able to effectively coordinate with Lockheed Martin program, technical, and business management teams. The successful candidate will:

• Evaluate contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts
• Ensure compliance to contractual obligations
• Maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties
• Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations

Qualifications

• Commercial, federal, and international contracting experience with USG, DCS, and International customers and contracts
• Experience in drafting and reviewing terms and conditions
• Experience presenting complex contractual concepts to senior-executive audiences

• Ability to make effective presentations to executive leadership
