[Hiring] Staff Attorney @Danaher

Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented lawyer to join our legal team. This role is based in Brazil and may work remotely, with alignment to our São Paulo, Brazil office as needed. The Staff Attorney will primarily support US-based contracting and legal workflows and will report to a US-based attorney. This role will primarily focus on contract drafting, review, and negotiation, supporting the legal department across various contracting activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to gain hands-on experience managing contract workflows, working closely with senior attorneys and business stakeholders, and helping with continuous improvement of legal processes.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), consulting (including agreements with healthcare professionals), services and vendor agreements.
• Support senior attorneys with contract preparation, negotiation, and execution across multiple business functions.
• Manage contract lifecycle processes, including tracking deadlines and maintaining contract databases.
• Maintain and update contract templates and playbooks.
• Assist with legal projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association.
• Multiple years of experience in contract law (in-house or law firm).
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; proficiency in contract drafting and negotiation.

Requirements

• Ability to travel on occasion to visit company sites – 5%.
