[Hiring] Sports Immigration Counsel @Ultimate Fighting Championship

Role Description

The Sports Immigration Counsel will provide comprehensive immigration support for TKO Group Holdings, Inc. and its associated businesses.

• Provide advice on Americas immigration strategy for employees, talent, and other immigration matters.
• Prepare applications for employees and talent for the Americas region.
• Liaise with external counsel on strategy and application preparation.
• Pro-actively manage and track visa milestones and petition timelines.
• Assist with responding to requests for evidence or immigration appeals.
• Coordinate with TKO offices internationally regarding visa requirements.
• Work closely with the global mobility team on employee moves worldwide.
• Liaise with TKO businesses to provide commercial and pragmatic advice.
• Advise on immigration aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Provide internal updates on Visa processing status and inform stakeholders of delays.
• Resolve concerns regarding the Visa process and escalate when necessary.
• Advise on right to work requirements and I-9 compliance.
• Assist with the creation and implementation of immigration compliance processes.
• Undertake and manage legal audit tasks, including documentation maintenance.
• Ensure immigration case information is maintained on INS ZOOM immigration platform.
• Develop, implement, and conduct training on immigration policies and programs.
• Conduct legal research.
• Lead and oversee immigration and paralegals for assigned businesses.
• Perform other legal group administrative tasks and provide ad hoc support.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• US qualified lawyer with experience in a commercial environment.
• Strong knowledge of US immigration law and work authorization issues.
• Working knowledge of immigration laws for the Americas.
• 7-10 years of experience in immigration matters, preferably in media, sport, and entertainment.
• Previous experience in global immigration matters is preferable.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize a varied and heavy workload.
• Able to work to deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
• Clear and concise communication skills with clients at all levels.
• Ability to take responsibility and show initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Outstanding negotiation, drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage global compliance specialists, case managers, and paralegals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements

• Hiring Rate Minimum: $105,000 annually.
• Hiring Rate Maximum: $140,000 annually.
