Role Description

As a Social Security Disability Attorney, you will play a critical role in representing claimants through all stages of the disability benefits process. This position is ideal for an attorney with a passion for client advocacy, strong litigation skills, and a commitment to serving individuals facing life-altering disabilities.

• Manage a full caseload of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims, including initial filings, appeals, and hearings.
• Represent clients before Administrative Law Judges, preparing them for testimony and advocating on their behalf.
• Evaluate medical records, work history, and vocational evidence to build strong cases for disability benefits.
• Collaborate with medical professionals and expert witnesses to strengthen case arguments.
• Provide compassionate, client-centered representation, guiding clients through a complex and often overwhelming legal process.
• Stay current on Social Security disability law and regulatory changes to ensure the highest quality representation.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed attorney in good standing with the Colorado Bar (or eligible for reciprocity).
• 5+ years of experience in Social Security disability law (preferred) or related fields such as administrative law, public benefits law, or litigation.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and empathetic manner.
• Strong legal writing skills for drafting appeals, briefs, and other case documents.
• A deep commitment to advocacy for individuals with disabilities.
