Role Description

As a key member of our legal team, you will:

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients with empathy, professionalism, and responsiveness
• Manage family law matters from intake through resolution
• Maintain case files, deadlines, and calendaring using Clio
• Draft pleadings, discovery, legal correspondence, and simple motions under attorney supervision
• Support attorneys with mediation preparation and trial readiness
• Coordinate filings and ensure compliance with Washington State court procedures
• Meet billing expectations while producing accurate, high-quality work
• Help create a calm, organized experience for clients navigating difficult transitions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of family law paralegal experience
• Experience with Washington State motion practice
• Knowledge of King, Snohomish, and Pierce County court rules
• Prior experience working in a billable-hour environment
• Strong proficiency with:
  • Clio
  • Microsoft 365
  • Outlook
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Dropbox
  • Apple-based systems
