[Hiring] Senior ECVC Associate @Talent Search PRO

Role Description

Presidio needs a Senior ECVC Associate with 7–15 years of dedicated emerging companies and venture capital experience. This person will handle venture financings, startup company representation, and general corporate matters for tech companies end-to-end under light partner supervision (or independently at the senior end of the range). The firm currently handles ECVC across its broader corporate team but wants to build out a dedicated ECVC group — this hire is a key part of that build.

• Company-side representation of venture-backed tech startups — Series A through late-stage financings, corporate governance, equity incentive plans, commercial contracts, and general outside counsel work.
• Presidio has several hundred VC-backed clients, many of which are approaching exit events.
• Sean's benchmark: candidates should be averaging ~15 venture deals per year at their current firm.

Secondary work (~10%):

• Occasional M&A support (especially as portfolio companies approach exits).
• Fund formation overflow and general corporate matters.
• The candidate should be comfortable flexing into M&A when a client's venture relationship turns into a sell-side transaction — that crossover is a natural part of the workflow here.

Reports to: Sean Mahsoul (Partner) and potentially 1–2 other corporate partners.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of dedicated emerging companies and venture capital experience.
• Experience in venture financings and startup company representation.
• Ability to handle general corporate matters for tech companies.
• Comfortable with M&A support as needed.

Requirements

• Must be in the US.
• Not open to any visas (e.g. US citizen, Green Card holders).

Benefits

• Salary range: $224K - $300K.
• Remote work policy: Must be in the US.
