[Hiring] Senior Conflicts Analyst @FTI Consulting

Role Description

The Conflicts group reports to Legal and the process involves 24-7 coverage for FTI’s world-wide business. The Conflicts Analyst will need to possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills as this role requires frequent discussions with administrative and client-facing professionals and business personnel at all levels to gather and clarify information and engage in sensitive communications regarding legal and business issues.

• Conduct analysis independently, with limited supervision and guidance.
• Perform analysis and conflicts checks with efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding firm business matters.
• Possess attention to detail, strong organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Work with ingenuity and creativity when obstacles are encountered.

Qualifications

• Extensive familiarity with the legal field and legal terminology.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team player and adapt to new policies and procedures.
• Ability to conduct analysis independently.
• Experience in working with ingenuity and creativity.
• Attention to detail, with strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide occasional weekend support on a rotating (on-call) basis.
• Computer proficiency and ability to pick up new systems quickly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related business field.
• 3+ years of experience as an analyst in a conflicts or new business intake function within a law, auditing, financial, or consulting firm.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience using IntApp, Salesforce, and Elite.
• Working knowledge of public company SEC filings and corporate family tree information.
• Working knowledge of engagement letters/contractual agreements and waiver language.
• Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures related to conflicts of interest and the legal field.

Compensation

• Minimum Pay: $54,000
• Maximum Pay: $100,000
