[Hiring] Senior Claims Handler @Kennedys

Role Description

Kennedys is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Claims Handler to join our growing Financial Lines team. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse and complex caseload, with a particular focus on Professional Indemnity (PI) and Cyber claims. You will play a key role in managing claims from notification through to resolution, providing strategic input, and delivering exceptional service to clients across a broad range of sectors.

• Handle a portfolio of complex insurance claims from notification through to resolution
• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims in line with policy terms and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with clients, brokers, insurers, and legal teams to ensure effective claims handling
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all claims
• Identify potential risks, trends, and opportunities for process improvement
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Claims Handler, with significant exposure to complex or high-value claims
• Strong knowledge of insurance principles and claims processes
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high performance
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff is desirable
