Role Description

• Attorneys manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation.
• The attorneys work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators.
• We are now seeking an Attorney with 2 to 5+ years of workers' compensation defense experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees.
• Member of the State Bar of California, in good standing.
• Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Commitment to proactive case management.
• Experience in Merus or Litify is preferred but not required.
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines.
• Physical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required.
• Auditory/Visual: Hearing, vision and speaking.
