[Hiring] Part-Time Temporary FRPP Fellow @West Virginia University

Role Description

The College of Law at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a (Remote) Part-Time Temporary FRPP Fellow.

What You'll Do:

• Review and analyze legal documents and instruments primarily related to easements in the Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP) of the United State Department of Agriculture.
• Document findings in EXCEL and other reporting formats.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports describing the Clinic’s activities as to the FRPP program.

Work Hours:

• 10 hours per week

Length of Assignment:

• Approximately 4.5 Months

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• A minimum of five (5) years prior work in real estate office is preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

Requirements

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of laws, legal codes, and government regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word and EXCEL.
• Proficiency in Google platforms including Google Docs and Zoom.
• Strong ability to multi-task multiple projects.
• Ability to write effectively.
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with co-investigators of different disciplines.
