We are seeking a New Business Conflicts Clearance Analyst to join our Firm. There are multiple positions based in our Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles/Palo Alto, New York, and Washington DC offices (fully remote). Please note that the Firm will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. There are multiple shifts available:

The New Business Conflicts Clearance Analyst will support the New Business Conflicts Clearance team by:

Conducting thorough conflicts checks
-
Maintaining accurate records in the conflicts database
-
Ensuring the seamless operation of the conflicts resolution process
-
Reviewing and analyzing conflicts reports to identify potential conflicts of interest issues
-
Collaborating with other members of the New Business Conflict Clearance team, Conflicts Attorneys, and Office of the General Counsel

Communicating effectively with attorneys and staff to gather necessary information for conflicts checks

Validating requirements for each conflict check with the requesting lawyer or secretary
-
Conducting corporate research using internal and external resources

Coordinating with the Client Accounting Department and other relevant departments

Providing coverage for department functions, including after-hours and weekend support

Demonstrating effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Managing Firm resources responsibly

Complying with and understanding Firm operation, policies, and procedures

Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with conflicts database software, preferably iManage or Intapp
-
Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills
-
Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment

Flexibility to adjust hours and work necessary to meet operating and business needs
Requirements
-
Bachelorβs degree
-
2+ years experience in new business conflicts analysis at an Am Law 200 firm is strongly preferred

Experience using iManage or Intapp preferred
