Role Description
As Manager, Legal and Compliance Services, you’ll ensure that Reliance Health operates safely and within the law across all our markets. You’ll own day-to-day legal and compliance operations, support internal teams with practical legal guidance, and ensure regulatory requirements are translated into clear, actionable processes. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance legal rigor with business needs, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do

Serve as the first point of contact for internal teams seeking legal guidance

Review business proposals, product changes, and partnerships for legal risk

Translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance

Manage external counsel relationships, including briefing and cost control

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor and partnership agreements

Maintain a contract register tracking obligations, renewals, and timelines

Ensure contracts are properly executed, stored, and understood by internal teams

Manage regulatory filings, license applications, and correspondence with authorities

Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business

Maintain a compliance calendar to track all regulatory deadlines

Convert regulatory requirements into internal policies and operational processes

Support internal investigations and incident reviews involving legal or compliance risks

Conduct structured risk assessments for new markets, products, or process changes

Document findings, recommendations, and track issue resolution
Qualifications

LL.B + BL (Call to Bar required)

Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in corporate law, compliance, or a related role

Experience working in a regulated industry such as health insurance, financial services, or fintech

Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts

Experience engaging with regulators, including filings, correspondence, and audits

Ability to interpret legislation and translate it into practical internal guidance

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Sound understanding of corporate governance principles
Nice to Have

Experience with health insurance regulation (e.g., NHIA or similar frameworks)

Exposure to multi-jurisdiction legal or compliance work

Experience supporting board-level governance or reporting

Familiarity with digital health or health tech business models
