Role Description

Join MGC's Litigation Team in Columbus, GA! We are currently seeking an experienced attorney to support our Litigation Team in Atlanta, remotely from Columbus. Ideal candidates will have 3-4 years of practice experience. Our associates are given hands-on experience in all phases of civil litigation from case inception to trial, as well as direct client contact.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia
• 3-4 years of practice experience

Requirements

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants
