This position is remote, but the candidate must be barred in the state of Texas. Our firm works to ensure and support both your professional growth and work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently and collaboratively to manage all phases of complex litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Conduct and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, handle oral arguments, and assist in trials in state and federal courts.
• Handle cases from inception through resolution, ensuring effective case development, risk assessment, and client communication throughout.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience handling all aspects of defense litigation matters in hospitality (preferably hotels or managed properties), premises or general liability, business/commercial litigation, or related area.
• Trial and arbitration experience preferred.
• Experience handling litigation in federal and state courts.
• JD from an ABA approved Law School.
• Admitted to practice in Texas.
