[Hiring] Litigation Associate @Jackson Lewis P.C.

Role Description

This position is a remote Associate – OC attorney and is available nationwide in any state in which Jackson Lewis maintains an office. The hours requirement for this role will be 1850.

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues
• Class Action/PAGA experience preferred but not required
• Represent employers in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases

Qualifications

• JD from ABA accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials
• 4+ years of experience handling California employment litigation
• To be eligible for consideration for an Of Counsel level remote role, you must generally have at least 9+ of relevant California experience and a demonstrated ability to operate in a first chair capacity
• Must be admitted to the CA state bar and comply with all ethical requirements in the resident state, including being barred if required
• Understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
• Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork

Requirements

• Must be admitted to the CA state bar
• Compliance with all ethical requirements in the resident state

Benefits

• Salary range: $120K-$216K, based on experience and other factors
