Role Description

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Legal Secretary for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.

• Provide secretarial and administrative support to solicitors and legal teams at UK firms
• Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence and court bundles
• Manage legal diaries, schedule hearings, client meetings and deadlines
• Handle client communications professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times
• Maintain and organise legal filing systems and case management databases
• Assist with billing, invoicing and time-recording for fee earners

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a legal secretary or legal administrator
• Strong typing and audio-typing skills with high accuracy
• Excellent knowledge of legal terminology and document formatting
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and legal case management software
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
• Reliable home office setup with high-speed internet and a quiet environment
