Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Law, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of recent legal editorial experience, with a strong understanding of legal terminology, concepts, and written legal content
• Experience working in an international environment and interacting with international clients and stakeholders
• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience specifically within a legal publishing company
• Law degree or previous experience working as a lawyer
• Experience working with Australian or US clients or markets

Requirements

• Review expert witness reports to ensure accuracy, coherence, logical structure, and alignment with lawyers' instructions
• Build strong working relationships with experts and guide them through report writing and refinement
• Strengthen expert reasoning and communication through targeted editorial guidance
• Support expert profiling by compiling key details, professional summaries, and judgment links for database maintenance
• Elevate written communication across teams through editorial support, constructive feedback, and training
• Improve team efficiency by completing essential administrative duties
• Create blogs, case studies, and other written content that highlight the diversity and impact of cases
• Contribute to internal and external newsletters that align with company messaging
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice across weekly and ad hoc content
• Conduct legal and value-adding research using platforms such as Jade, AustLII, and Mondaq
• Monitor legal news alerts and recommend timely LinkedIn articles and content ideas
• Draft high-quality articles and posts for publication, subject to review and approval
