Role Description

This is a remote position. SLG Connect is hiring a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to work with U.S.-based personal injury law firms. Full-time remote position.

• Draft, review, and organize litigation documents
• Manage discovery processes and communications
• Maintain legal calendars and court deadlines
• Organize electronic case files and medical records
• Communicate with clients, courts, and third parties
• Prepare cases for trial
• Track liens and medical record requests

Qualifications

• 2+ years as paralegal or legal assistant
• Proven personal injury litigation experience (mandatory)
• Discovery process management experience
• Legal calendaring and deadline knowledge
• BILINGUAL: English and Spanish (professional level)
• Strong written and verbal communication

Requirements

• U.S. personal injury law firm litigation experience
• California litigation cases experience (MAJOR PLUS)
• Experience with Clio, MyCase, Elevene
• Medical records review and lien tracking
• Paralegal certification or law degree
• Knowledge of U.S. court procedures
• Experience with remote time-tracking tools
• Reliable high-speed internet
• Dedicated, quiet workspace
• Availability during U.S. business hours (EST/CST)
