Role Description

Looking for a Lead Paralegal with 10+ years of experience to join our rapidly growing legal tech startup. The ideal candidate is a solutions-oriented, proactive, and adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage a high volume of personal injury cases. You will be a key player in managing relationships with our partner law firms and ensuring cases progress smoothly from start to finish. We need a systems thinker who is excited to build and refine processes at a company backed by Sequoia and Redpoint.

• Serve as the primary liaison for 8-12 partner law firms, managing all communications and case updates.
• Manage a high-volume caseload of 120-220+ active pre-litigation personal injury cases simultaneously.
• Oversee and direct a pod of case managers who support your caseload across different verticals (e.g., medical records retrieval, police reports).
• Conduct daily case reviews, triage, and prioritization to ensure all deadlines are met and cases move efficiently.
• Prepare and review demand packages, ensuring quality and accuracy before they are sent back to the partner attorney.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a paralegal.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases effectively.
• Experience in personal injury law.
• Proficiency in case management systems.
