As In-House Corporate Counsel, you'll play a key role in supporting our business by:

• Negotiating and managing commercial agreements
• Advising on legal and compliance matters
• Developing policies
• Resolving disputes
• Partnering with leadership on strategic business initiatives

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced technology environment while working closely with our Senior Corporate Counsel on Axway's business.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar
• At least 2 years of software licensing and commercial contracting experience
• Strong negotiation, communication, and business partnership skills

Requirements

• Software licensing and service contract experience, in-house experience a plus
• General knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to corporations in general and software companies in specific
• Detail oriented
• Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various levels of company up to and including senior management
• Strong business acumen and ability to adapt to changing needs of business
• Experience with emphasis on software law, IP rights, employment law, and compliance regulations licensing and commercial transactions
• Knowledge of financial revenue recognition rules

Benefits
