[Hiring] Health Care Litigation Associate @Best Best & Krieger LLP

Role Description

We have an immediate opening for a health care attorney with at least 3 years of litigation experience and an interest in health care law to help deliver effective solutions to complex legal issues facing clients that administer or provide health care services. Our health care clients primarily include health plans and hospitals.

• The health care team at BBK advises on a broad array of health care legal matters, including:
• Health care regulatory and compliance matters
• Health care reimbursement
• Health care operations
• Health information privacy and security
• Medi-Cal managed care
• Provider and vendor contracting
• Payer-provider disputes
• Mergers and acquisitions
• Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience litigating health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance matters, including arbitration and litigation of reimbursement disputes.
• Public agency experience and experience with health care regulatory matters related to public health care providers and Medi-Cal is a plus.
• Candidates must be admitted to practice in California. The ideal candidate will also be admitted in Nevada, or willing to take the Nevada bar exam.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of litigation experience
• Interest in health care law
• Knowledge and experience in health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance matters
• Public agency experience (preferred)
• Admitted to practice in California
• Admitted in Nevada or willing to take the Nevada bar exam (preferred)

Benefits

• Reasonably expected pay scale for this position: $127,500 - $185,000
• Actual salary will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience
