Role Description
Unifyr is a leading SaaS provider of cloud-based Partner Relationship Management (PRM) and channel marketing automation. Our unified platform helps enterprise vendors recruit, onboard, enable, market with, and grow their partner ecosystems—turning indirect channels into a predictable, high-performing revenue engine.
We are looking for our first in-house dedicated legal counsel to build and shape the legal function of a fast-growing SaaS company. This role is designed for someone who combines strong legal judgement with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset and enjoys working close to management, product and commercial teams in an international technology environment. The successful individual will take ownership of a broad range of legal matters across commercial, corporate, privacy and operational topics while helping establish scalable legal structures and processes that support the company’s continued growth.
Responsibilities

Build the Legal Function

Establish the company’s first in-house legal function

Implement legal processes and standards

Set up Legal both operationally and strategically

Build a modern, efficient and business-oriented legal function from the ground up
-
Commercial & Product Legal
-
Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, MSAs, DPAs, vendor agreements, partnership agreements, procurement contracts and licensing matters

Support Sales, Customer Success and Procurement teams in customer and supplier negotiations

Advise internal stakeholders on legal and commercial risks in a pragmatic and solution-oriented manner
-
Support product and engineering teams on legal questions related to SaaS products, AI features, data usage and platform functionality

Privacy & Compliance
-
Support and further develop the company’s privacy and compliance framework
-
Manage and improve legal and privacy processes, templates and internal guidelines
-
Coordinate external counsel where required

Work closely with the DPO and advise on GDPR, international data transfers and general compliance

Support the implementation of scalable governance structures aligned with company growth

Monitor legal and regulatory developments in IT and technology, Payments, Financial services

Corporate & Strategic Support

Act as a trusted legal partner for management and cross-functional teams

Support corporate housekeeping and group structure topics

Assist with strategic projects, international expansion and potential M&A activities

Legal Operations

Create and maintain contract templates, playbooks and approval workflows

Improve contract lifecycle and documentation processes
-
Evaluate and implement legal technology and AI-supported legal tools where appropriate
-
Drive simplification, standardization and operational efficiency across legal processes

Manage external law firms and advisors

Oversee legal spend and cost efficiency

Qualifications
-
Fully qualified lawyer or equivalent legal qualification in an EU jurisdiction
-
Several years of relevant experience in-house or at a law firm with exposure to technology, SaaS or commercial law
-
Strong experience in commercial contracting and technology-related legal matters
-
Solid understanding of data protection and privacy laws, especially GDPR
-
Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-moving environment
-
Pragmatic, business-oriented and solution-driven mindset
-
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex legal matters to non-legal stakeholders
-
Experience working closely with international and cross-functional teams
-
Interest in legal operations, automation and scalable legal processes
