Role Description

We are seeking a Georgia Commercial Litigation Attorney with at least 5+ years of experience for a remote full-time position. Our litigation practice operates through a pod system, typically consisting of a Senior Attorney, Junior Attorney, Paralegal, and Legal Assistant.

• The Senior Attorney leads the pod and is responsible for litigation strategy, client management, quality of work, and development of the team.
• Senior Attorneys focus on work requiring senior-level judgment while effectively delegating and supervising other aspects of the case.
• The attorney will handle a variety of tasks, including:
  • Preparing and filing motions
  • Conducting legal research
  • Managing court appearances
  • Representing clients in trials
  • Performing depositions
• The role involves consistently delivering superior legal counsel to ensure clients’ business interests are protected and effectively represented.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the practice of law, particularly in commercial litigation
• Strong knowledge of laws and legal procedures
• At least 5+ years of experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and licensed to practice law in Georgia
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong organizational and case management skills
• Ability to balance multiple priorities
• Additional experience or interest in business law or appellate work is a plus

Requirements

• Federal Practice Experience is a must
• Experience preparing, drafting, and filing motions and other associated legal documents
• Proficiency in managing court appearances, trials, and litigation processes
• Skilled in conducting depositions and handling related pre-trial procedures
