Role Description

CLJ is seeking experienced FOIA professionals to support review, analysis, and processing of routine and complex FOIA requests for a federal healthcare client. Analysts will independently review records, apply exemptions, draft responses, and support disclosure activities.

• Conduct document review and responsiveness determinations.
• Perform disclosure reviews and exemption analysis.
• Apply FOIA exemptions and redaction recommendations.
• Draft correspondence and release packages.
• Support appeals and litigation case development.
• Update case management systems and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with federal stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum 5 years of FOIA processing experience.
• Knowledge of FOIA, Privacy Act, and records management principles.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.

Requirements

• Litigation and appeals experience.
• Federal healthcare agency experience.
• Experience with electronic discovery tools.
