Role Description

Groom Law Group is seeking an experienced attorney to join our successful tax practice group focusing on executive compensation matters. Our firm’s extensive experience, collaborative approach and proven record of success make us the leaders in benefits, retirement, and health care law. The location of this position is flexible and can be structured as a remote work arrangement.

• The counsel will primarily support the firm’s Retirement, Executive Compensation and Tax group.
• Work on compliance-related matters involving:
  • Traditional non-qualified deferred compensation plans subject to 409A
  • Severance plans
  • Equity plans
  • Other executive compensation programs and arrangements
• Provide general support for work on qualified plans such as:
  • 401(k)
  • Profit-sharing
  • Traditional defined benefit
  • Cash balance plans

Qualifications

• 8+ years of executive compensation experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Superior academic credentials
• Exceptional writing ability

The expected annual pay range for this position is $450,000. Please note that the offer amount will be dependent on attorney class year, relevant experience, and skillset.
