Salary Range: $135,000 - $170,000 / Year DOE

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative charges, demand letters, and employment litigation for firm clients, including those with EPLI.
• Focus on the tactical aspects of cases with limited in-person hearings, depositions, or trials.
• Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings, prepare persuasive motions, and handle depositions.
• Collaborate with multiple partners and teams on diverse and complex employment law matters.
• Litigate restrictive covenant and trade secret matters, including motions for injunctive relief and expedited discovery.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients on day-to-day employment issues and compliance strategies.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Must have CA, AZ, or WA bar license.
• Active state bar admission.
• 5-7 years of employment law and litigation experience.
• Strong experience handling restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation, including injunctive relief and expedited discovery.
• Comfortable managing cases independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with computer forensics, e-discovery, and data privacy issues is a plus.
• Prior law firm experience is a plus.
• Experience handling cases involving EPLI is preferred.
• Bar admission in California is highly preferred.
