Role Description

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced employment defense attorney to join our EEO Advantage Administrative Charges team as a Special Counsel attorney. The Special Counsel attorney will focus on handling administrative charges before federal, state and local agencies, including:

• Investigation
• Assessment and development of risk strategies
• Client interaction
• Preparation of persuasive position statements

The Special Counsel attorney will not have a billable hour requirement for this role and will have a flexible part-time schedule with the ability to work from home. Opportunities for a full-time position may be available. Candidates who apply should have extensive experience in preparing position statements in connection with large law firm or in-house practice.

Please note, a writing sample is required to be considered for the Special Counsel role. A redacted position statement is strongly preferred at the time of submission.

This position may be remote, but the successful candidate must reside in a state where the firm has a physical office.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor
• Qualified candidates must reside in, remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of employment
• 10+ years of recent experience preparing position statements required, either in-house or at a large law firm
• Significant management-side labor & employment experience required
• Superior analytical and writing skills required

Requirements

• Must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice during employment
• We are not working with outside recruiters for this position

• Expected salary range for this position is between $1,250 and $1,250 per completed Position Statement in various states
