[Hiring] Conveyancer @Habito by Monzo

Role Description

We’re looking for a Property Lawyer / Conveyancer to help build and grow our in-house conveyancing practice. Our cutting-edge technology helps streamline the conveyancing process, enabling fee earners to do their best work and keep clients and third parties updated throughout the transaction.

• Handling the sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties.
• Experience in re-mortgages, new-build developments, and Help to Buy schemes is also required.
• Experience of acting for lenders as well as your client is necessary.
• You will manage your own caseload and provide feedback to our technical teams on ways that the technology can be adapted to best suit your needs.
• Commercial property experience is desirable but not required.
• You’ll use your strong communication and collaboration skills to harness the best of your technical conveyancing knowledge and experience.
• You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, looking to challenge industry norms and work with our internal teams to constantly improve the customer proposition.

Qualifications

• You are an English law qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with experience of working on residential property transactions.
• You will enjoy thinking creatively about traditional concepts.
• You have the ability to work efficiently and proactively, taking the initiative and managing time well to prioritise work.
• You will have great communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
