Role Description
Western EcoSystems Technology, Inc. (WEST) is seeking a full-time Contracts Associate. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-level legal and contracts functions and will support the Contracts Manager in various capacities. Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Proofreading various legal documents to ensure accuracy and conformity to company policies and legal regulations.

Recommend negotiating contract terms and conditions.

Prepare, interpret and verify contracts and associated paperwork to be signed.

Monitor existing contracts to ensure timely renewals.

Post key contractual language to ensure easy access for all WEST employees.

Assist in the development and implementation of various contracts management processes.

Provide administrative support to the Contracts Manager, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.

Conduct legal research and summarize findings.

Provide training to staff.

Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate contract execution.

Maintain and organize contract files and documentation.

Manage the full subcontractor lifecycle, including:

Incorporating client-required flow-down provisions into agreements.

Ensuring all contracts are fully executed in a timely manner.

Verifying that subcontractor insurance coverage meets client requirements.

Coordinating with the Health & Safety team to confirm all required H&S documentation is completed by the subcontractor and approved prior to work commencement.

Generating and issuing purchase orders in accordance with project requirements.
Qualifications

Minimum of an associate degree or a minimum of two years' experience in professional procurement and/or contracting.

Problem solving/analysis.

Communication proficiency.

Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Excellent listening skills.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling information and documentation.

Ability to be detail oriented in all transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness.

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and make independent decisions.
Requirements

After an offer of employment is made, the candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and DMV records check that meets WESTβs minimum criteria to operate a motor vehicle on behalf of the company.

A valid driverβs license will be required.
Benefits
-
The minimum base salary for this position is $52,000 and the maximum is $55,000, plus additional annual profit-sharing bonus potential.

Salary may vary based on education, knowledge and experience.

This position can be remote for the right candidate; however, preference will be given to those that are willing to relocate to the Cheyenne, WY, Laramie, WY, or Fort Collins, CO office.
