[Hiring] Contract Specialist @Velos

Role Description

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate for a contract positioned remotely (at home) supporting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) in Cayce (Columbia), South Carolina.

Contract Specialist (½ time position)

• Assists program offices with the establishment of service and support agreements with other DoD or federal organizations, including federally funded research and development centers.
• Service and support agreements shall include:
  • Memorandums of Understanding (MOU)
  • Memorandums of Agreements (MOA)
  • Interagency Agreements (IAA)
  • System Interface Agreements (SIA)
  • Interconnectivity Security Agreements (ISA)
  • Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Assist DCSA in the information gathering and preparation of service and support agreements and tracking/managing of established projects.
• Assist the Government in tracking and managing established agreements.
• Update and track the processing and completion of service and support agreements.
• Complete and update draft agreements based on approved templates and information provided by the program POC and/or external mission partners.
• Establish procedures and techniques for analyzing and evaluating performance against standards and developing/validating data sources.
• Periodically review support arrangements between the support integrators and support providers to ensure the arrangements are consistent with the overall support agreement and report their findings to the government program/agreement manager.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a Contract Specialist.
• Preferably with DoD and/or other Government agencies.
• Familiarity with Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA's) and Educational Partnership Agreements (EPA's).

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
