Role Description

Circle is seeking a part-time contractor to join its dynamic legal function, supporting the company’s mission to drive innovation in digital finance. This role is central to maintaining the efficiency and clarity of Circle’s vendor contract review process, with the potential to expand into deal desk support for Sales and Customer Success teams as capacity allows. The contractor will also provide essential holiday coverage, ensuring continuity of legal operations.

Qualifications

• Experience from fast-paced environments, preferably within tech startups or scale-ups.
• Strong negotiation skills, particularly with SaaS, privacy, AI contracting, and general commercial agreements.
• Hands-on experience with AI.
• Ability to deliver clear, actionable advice through platforms like Slack.
• Ability to operate independently and balance risk with business needs.
• Willingness to work during US Eastern Time hours.
