Role Description

The Law Offices of James L. Arrasmith is seeking a California Law Firm Paralegal to support attorneys across a broad California civil practice. This role is ideal for someone with strong legal drafting skills, solid case management experience, and a working knowledge of California legal procedures.

• Assist attorneys with organizing case files
• Draft and edit pleadings, discovery, correspondence, declarations, notices, memoranda, and other legal documents
• Review documents and maintain deadlines
• Communicate with clients and witnesses
• Prepare case materials
• Support hearings and trial preparation
• Help attorneys move matters forward from intake through resolution

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple assignments in a remote law firm environment. Strong writing skills, clear communication, deadline awareness, and careful follow-through are essential.

This position is classified as a Paralegal in accordance with California Business and Professions Code Section 6450. Candidates must meet the qualifications required under California law to work as a paralegal.

This is a remote position.
