Role Description
Join our Immigration department as a Business Immigration Specialist located in our Warsaw Center of Excellence office (remote). We are currently looking for two candidates: one for a permanent position, and one for a maternity cover for approximately 1.5 years, with a potential opportunity for longer-term cooperation.
The Business Immigration Paralegal position will provide organizational and practice specific support to attorneys in our highly specialized Immigration Department. This position assists the team in a wide range of business immigration matters including preparing various immigration forms and applications.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and edit technical/legal documents and letters based on internal materials.

Draft writing intensive immigration petitions (O-1A, EB-1A, & EB-2 NIW).

Draft detailed support letters and letters of recommendation.

Draft summaries of published works of foreign nationals.

Revise documents according to internal specifications and client feedback.

Reply to client messages in the case management system.

Initiate immigration cases and ensure all documents are provided within assigned deadlines.

Draft various elements of Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV) (H-1B, L, E-1/2, TN, O-1, J) and Immigrant Visa (IV) (PERM, I-140, CP, AOS, Naturalization, etc.) cases, including cover/support letters, immigration forms, and supporting documents.

Process I-485 (AOS- Adjustment of Status); submits applications for (I-765) employment authorization document; travel document, replacement I-94 and I-90.

Prepare immigration filings/client correspondence including Premium Processing upgrades and I-131 (AP β Advance Parole/Travel Document).

Change and file extensions of statuses, including B2; processes fiancΓ©/finance petitions.

Submit and file I-751 (Removal of Conditions).

Review drafted work for accuracy. Identify issues during case production and escalate as needed.

Prepare responses to request for evidence.

Research law, procedures and keeps track of immigration law updates.

Follow up with attorneys, and/or clients and foreign nationals regarding case filings, as well as completed questionnaires and missing documents.

Conduct necessary data entry, including updating information and uploading documents received from clients and entering client details in case and document management systems, including INSZoom.

Maintain client files, including editing letters and forms.

Contact USCIS and U.S. consulate/embassies, schedules visa appointment interviews.

Assist in client intakes, prepares client mailings and submissions to various immigration offices.

Liaise with government agencies (DOL, USCIS, NVC) to troubleshoot issues as necessary.
