Role Description

Mid-Sized GP Firm ranked National "Tier 1" in Patent Law.

• Very active with representing both patent owners and petitioners at the PTAB, and complainants at the ITC.
• A busy Patent Prosecution practice of cutting edge clients, primarily medium to large companies.

Qualifications

• Registered with the USPTO.
• Strong educational and/or industry experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field.
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) preferred.
• High level of familiarity and practical experience in both the software and biological fields highly preferred.
• Prior patent prosecution experience.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in technical writing considered a strong plus.
• For Attorney candidates, admission (or qualification for admission) to the state bar corresponding to the primary office location is required.
