Our Client is seeking a proactive, detail-obsessed Bilingual Legal Assistant to serve as a critical operational pillar for their expanding practice. The successful candidate will independently manage complex documentation requests, organize firm calendars, and act as a primary, fluent point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients, medical providers, and legal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Processes and addresses individual task lists autonomously via the firmβs centralized case management system each day.

Conducts regular phone updates and remote check-in meetings with clients, translating complex legal timelines into clear, reassuring updates.

Responds to all incoming digital correspondence and telephone calls within a strict 24-hour window using a composed, solution-oriented approach.

Handles relentless administrative follow-up with third-party vendors and institutions to keep cases moving forward dynamically.

Legal Documentation & Records Procurement:

Drafts, proofreads, and edits foundational legal correspondence, including formal letters of representation.

Manages the end-to-end procurement process for essential case assets, including medical records, detailed medical bills, wage loss documentation, and specialized physician reports.

Maintains flawless digital client files and structures firm calendars to track critical deadlines, court filings, and deposition schedules.
Qualifications

Language:
Flawless, native-level bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (both written and verbal) is an absolute requirement.

Must be capable of translating legal terminology accurately.

Technical Savvy:
High proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat DC, legal research tools, and cloud-based database systems.
