Role Description

Heard & Smith is seeking a licensed full-time attorney to join our team. Being part of the Heard & Smith team is more than a job; each day provides you with opportunities to change someone’s life!

• Provide legal advice to clients.
• Prepare for and represent clients at disability hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges.
• Conduct legal writing at the ALJ and Appeals Council levels.
• Communicate with clients via telephone, mail, and email at all levels of the disability process.

This position is available for candidates who reside in one of the following states: CO, FL, GA, NV, NM, PA, SC, and TX, and will also require travel to hearings in other cities and states.

Qualifications

• Attorney License
• 1-3+ Years Social Security Disability Law Experience
• 200 or More Hearings Before SSA ALJs
• Ability to Travel up to 80% of the Time
• Strong Communication Skills, Both Oral and Written
• Reliability and Dependability
• Residence in One of the Above Listed States
