[Hiring] Associate Attorney, Litigation @McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce LLP

Role Description

Represent mortgage lenders and investor clients in commercial and residential foreclosure, title disputes and real estate litigation. This position includes but is not limited to:

• Making appearances in state and federal court for routine and contested hearings.
• Reviewing incoming litigation and developing case strategy.
• Drafting documents and conducting settlement negotiations.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree, licensed in Illinois and in good standing with the Illinois Bar.
• Minimum 2 years relevant litigation experience.
• Minimum 2 years motion practice experience.
• Minimum 2 years courtroom experience.
• Knowledge of Illinois Mortgage Foreclosure Law.
• Knowledge of Illinois Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court Rules.
• Previous experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property.
