Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• 12 months of experience in the job offered or in an Attorney-related occupation
• Active license to practice law in the U.S. and in good standing

Requirements

• Manage a high-volume, varied caseload of employment-based immigration matters, including PERM, H-1B, L-1, TN petitions
• Directly supervise, mentor, and review the daily work of a dedicated team of paralegals and immigration assistants
• Conduct consultations with foreign national employees to assess their immigration history and advise on visa strategies
• Review and finalize complex legal documents prior to government filing
• Conduct thorough legal research on evolving Department of Labor (DOL) regulations, USCIS policies, and federal immigration laws
• Leverage BAL’s proprietary case management technology (Cobalt®) to monitor team workflows and track critical deadlines
• Ensure all case filings meet government and firm standards
