Your Key Contributions

Conduct legal research and monitor changes in U.S. laws and policies, analyze updates, and communicate applicability firmwide.

Provide legal support for complex cases, including escalation reviews, risk management, and policy interpretation.

Support the Legal Leadership Team in developing and implementing firmwide legal strategy and compliance initiatives.

Draft, review, and update legal documents and internal firm policy documents.

Draft, review, and conduct training sessions for internal teams.

Support the Legal Department as subject-matter experts in immigration law to ensure legal consistency, compliance, and quality control.

Perform additional duties as determined by the Director Attorney.
Qualifications
-
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and current bar membership in good standing.

5+ years of experience as an immigration attorney.

3+ years of removal defense experience, including experience preparing for and representing clients in Master Calendar and Individual Calendar Hearings.

Preferred experience with humanitarian and family-based immigration, and consular processing (e.g., VAWA; T visas; U visas; family-based petitions; nonimmigrant and immigrant visas; naturalization; waivers; RFE/NOID/NOIR responses; appeals; and motions before USCIS and immigration court).

Strong command of U.S. immigration law and related federal regulations.

Excellent analytical, legal writing, and research skills.

Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Sound judgment and ethical decision-making in client and firm matters.

Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy, firm integrity, and continuous improvement.

Bilingual candidates are preferred, with Spanish fluency strongly preferred; additional language skills are a plus.
Requirements

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm local time (Occasional travel, remote work).
Compensation
-
The expected salary for this role is $90,000 / year, though the final offer will reflect several factors such as your experience, skills, and the role's location and may be outside of this range.
