Role Description

Toshiba America Business Solutions has an excellent opportunity for a Systems Support Specialist IV. This is a remote position, and ideal candidates should be in the following areas: New York, New England, Indiana, or Michigan.

As a Systems Support Specialist, you will enjoy making a positive impact on the business and our customers through troubleshooting complex technical problems related to networks, connectivity, systems, and applications.

Your core focus as a Field Service Technician will be to provide remote and on-site repair of system problems in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

• Perform root cause analysis of presented problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex systems problems in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Monitor systems regularly to accept and/or reject network site surveys and take appropriate action.
• Perform confirmation tests as directed.
• Work with customers to resolve technical issues.
• Interface heavily with customer IT personnel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years increasingly responsible experience in a combination of the following areas: Networking systems, systems support, interfaces, connectivity, and related software.
• Demonstrated experience with information & Document Lifecycle process, products, and services.
• Knowledgeable in hardware and software industry.
• Demonstrate comfort with installation and upgrades; must have experience with multifunctional devices.
• Experience in cloud applications, IT Infrastructure & Security, and systems integration.
• Expertise in workflows, processes, and scripting.
• Valid Driver’s License and must be able to travel to sites periodically.
