Role Description

DecisionPoint is seeking an experienced Senior Windows Systems Administrator to serve as a technical SME supporting enterprise Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and IIS environments. The role requires advanced expertise in:

• Windows administration
• Active Directory
• Group Policy
• DNS
• IIS
• Authentication
• Networking
• System troubleshooting

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining mission-critical systems
• Resolving complex production issues
• Supporting virtualized environments
• Implementing security hardening and vulnerability remediation

Experience with DISA STIGs, DoD RMF requirements, and enterprise Windows security standards is essential. These positions are fully remote.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, DevOps Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of hands-on Windows Server administration experience
• Expert-level experience with Microsoft Windows Server in enterprise or mission-critical environments
• Strong hands-on expertise with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, authentication, and domain services
• Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft IIS
• Advanced Windows troubleshooting skills, including Event Viewer, services, permissions, performance, networking, and application issues
• Experience with DISA STIG, DoD RMF, Windows security hardening, and vulnerability remediation
• Strong understanding of NTFS permissions, certificates, SSL/TLS, Windows networking, and enterprise authentication
